Andrew Loh is a first-gen college student originally from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where he grew up in a marginalized community before moving to a suburb with better schools, and thus better student outcomes. As a result of this, Andrew attended the University of Southern California, where he majored in Business Administration and began to cultivate his interests in finance, creative expression, and social enterprises. After a number of corporate experiences in accounting, finance, and data analytics roles, Andrew recognized that his skills could be dedicated to building and reinforcing sustainable models for change, which is why he joined Teach For America. After his time as a Corps Member, he hopes to return to the business realm to join the effort to rethink how business models can become engines of social change, using his time in the classroom to inform impactful decision-making.
